Total Comfort Solutions was brought in as a partner to find a solution to the building's aging mechanical system.

CHALLENGES

As our Charleston team began developing a solution, it was discovered that the facility had poor air flow. Following this discovery, our team identified:

  • High energy spend
  • Poor chiller loop design
  • Obsolete controls capabilities

SOLUTION

Our expert team created a solution that replaced the old chiller and addressed the additional uncovered concerns that were impacting the building. The plan was to:

  • Install new chillers and air handling units
  • Redesign the chiller water loop and pumps
  • Integrate a new controls package
